You've learned about Lisa - Now meet the team.

When Lisa founded JFA, creating a great place to work and do business wasn't an afterthought, it was the primary goal.

The people behind JFA are truly one of a kind. Every one of them shows up with a genuine desire to help, to keep learning, and to work together to deliver the best possible service to our clients.

That's not just something we say. It's what we see every single day: a positive attitude, a willingness to go above and beyond, and a real care for each other and our work.

Bernadine brings more than 20 years of bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative experience to JFA, with a particular talent for keeping complex operations running smoothly and accurately. Her background spans a wide range of environments, from retail and hospitality to financial services and forensic accounting firms, giving her a versatile and practical approach to financial record-keeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and regulatory compliance.

She is highly organized and experienced in preparing financial data within specialized report templates. Beyond her professional work, Bernadine is a committed volunteer who has served as Board Treasurer for a local sports association, developing internal financial controls and budgeting policies.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Law from Carleton University, and her combination of analytical thinking and service-oriented nature makes her a natural fit for the detail-driven work at JFA.
